St Joseph’s Parish and School came together in joyful celebration for the Festival of Hope and Flame, marking a special moment in the Jubilee Year.
The day began with a 10am Mass at St Joseph’s Church, featuring hymns in various languages to honour the parish’s vibrant diversity.
Gabriel accompanied his choir on the keyboard as they sang a moving Communion hymn in Arabic, followed by James and the Ghanaian choir who shared a beautiful hymn in their native language.
Children from St Joseph’s Primary School then presented a powerful Pentecost drama in the church hall. Henry organised a team of Welcomers in traditional dress to warmly greet parishioners on arrival.
The celebration continued in the Parish gardens with a bring and share picnic, cultural dishes, and games, as families and friends gathered in unity and joy.
