St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School

Outstanding I am extremely proud of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, which is a welcoming and inclusive school, highly regarded by the families that choose it for their child’s primary education. It is also delightful to highlight below some of the recent findings made by both the Catholic Schools Inspectorate, which considered our school ‘Outstanding’,…

Being a chaplain involves listening to people of all faiths

By DEACON BARRY MELLISH Deacon Aidan and I are privileged to be part-time Honorary Chaplains working at the PRUH. What does a Hospital Chaplain do? A LACK OF RESPONSE TO ABUSE IS LEAVING A DEEP WOUND

It is sadly true that abuse takes place in many institutions and within families. However, today’s Gospel reminds us, how can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take out the splinter that is in your eye,’ when you cannot see the plank in your own? We need to get our own in house…

Thank you for celebrating my Golden Jubilee

By Fr TOM McHUGH

A huge thank you to the nearly one thousand people who gathered to celebrate with me a Mass of Thanksgiving on the occasion of my Golden Jubilee of Ordination to the priesthood. The joy-filled and festive experience was for me superlative in every way.
